Choose a battleground that's as big as the server's pvp population, and change it according to the number. The rest should be just aesthetics.
By the way, the battlegrounds should be areas for pvp without zerg, and that means we need to find a way for ppl to want to keep small sized parties in, if not entirely solo. If we prohibit partying in the zone it ends up something like deathmatch (all versus all) area, which sucks imo.
What I suggest is to boost/lower the pvp rewards each round/each kill according to pvpers party size. A 9-sized party would get incredibly less rewards than a two/three sized one. If going solo rewards could be a bit bigger.
PVP rewards after each kill/bg round should be a unique token, which can be traded for stuff that are pretty overpriced in the gm shop or unique aesthetic gear, and the only way to farm it fast should be via bg pvping in the appropriate sized party. This way we encourage bg pvping in small parties without zerging.
